Education: Mr. Gabriel completed his studies in economics at the Universities of Bern and Rochester (NY, USA) and his activity as assistant in economics at the University of Bern in 1983 with the title of Dr. rer. pol.

Professional activity: From 1984 to 1998 Mr. Gabriel worked for Union Bank of Switzerland in Zurich, London and Milan, where he held management positions in corporate finance, risk management, international corporate account management and business development. From 1998 to 2002 he was responsible for corporate finance and group treasury at Zurich Financial Services.

As at 31 December 2007, Mr. Gabriel held directorships at PSP Swiss Property Ltd and the subsidiaries PSP Participations Ltd, PSP Finance Ltd, PSP Real Estate Ltd, PSP Properties Ltd, Immobiliengesellschaft Septima AG, SI 7 Place du Molard Ltd, PSP Management Ltd and PSP Group Services Ltd, the subsidiary PSP West V AG and its subsidiaries as well as the associated company WTF Real Estate (Switzerland) Ltd and its subsidiaries, and he was a member of the Executive Board of EPRA, European Public Real Estate Association. As at 31 December 2007, Mr. Gabriel did not hold any other directorships which are subject to disclosure. Recently he acts as Member of the Board of Directors of Orascom Development Holding AG, listed on SIX Swiss Exchange on
14 May 2008.
