Comprehensive and effective health management is essential for sustainable business success. It not only promotes the well-being of our employees, but also increases their performance and reduces absences due to illness and accidents. A safe and inspiring work environment, health-promoting offers and a good work-life balance are essential for this.
To give even more weight to the issue of mental and physical health, in 2024 we introduced a systematic, targeted and sustainable occupational health management (OHM) programme based on the motto ‘Fit@Work & in Balance’ and revised our occupational health and safety policy. In doing so, we are guided by the guidelines and ideas of the “Gesundheitsförderung Schweiz” foundation, which is supported by the cantons and insurers and monitored by the federal government. The OHM is managed by a five-member group composed of individuals from various departments.
In 2025, communication activities related to health were intensified and suggestions for improving the OHM were solicited from employees at various events. Fundamentally, the high approval ratings in the Great Place to Work survey show that satisfaction in the areas of health and work-life balance is already very high. This is also reflected in the statement that employees can take sick leave without feeling guilty if they are unwell, which applies to 95% of employees.
